Amia Garcia was born as Vanessa Amia Margarita Angelica Garcia-Chand. She was the seventh child born out of nine. She had five older brothers, one older sister, and two younger sisters. At an early age Amia became a star and shined amongst others her age. She did alot of print work for J.C. Penny's and enjoyed her being in front of the camera very much. As her younger sister Ashleigh got older Amia and Ashleigh began to form this bond that no one would ever be able to break. They where always together doing everything together. Amia started cheerleading so Ashleigh did also. The girls excelled at cheerleading and one several awards. As they reached the junior high school age theie parents decided home schooling was the best for the children so there private school education was canceled and they began being educated by their parents. Amia happily graduated high school and was looking forward to attending NYU with her sister. She talked so much about all the adventures that were awaiting them in New York. We are all sad at the sudden loss of such a wonderful person. The world will never be the same without the love of a beautiful, caring, loving, forgiving soul that was Amia Garcia.
On 9/6/12 god received a wonderful angel in heaven. Those of us close to her miss her dearly and don't understand why she had to leave us so soon. All we can ask god....is please take care of her because she was very special to us as well. May you rest in paradise Amia.
